26. Waist to Hip: The distance from the waist line to the hip line. Measure with your tape at the side waist and follow the body’s curve down to hip. (Sketch 2.16)
 
27. Waist to Knee: The distance from the waist line to the knee line. Measure with your tape at the side waist and follow the body’s curve down to knee. (Sketch 2.16)
 
28. Waist to Ankle: The distance length from the waist line to the ankle line. Measure with your tape at the side waist and follow the body’s curve to the hip, then go straight down to the ankle level. (Sketch 2.17)
 
29. Crotch Length: The distance from the waist line at center front, down and around to the waist line at center back, passing through the crotch.This measurement is also commonly referred to as the “rise”, both are used in the industry today. (Sketch 2.18)

 30. Crotch to Ankle: The vertical length from the crotch line to the ankle line. This measurement is also commonly referred to as the “inseam”. (Sketch 2.17)
