Alexandra is the Founder and CEO of Fashion FWD, a public facing nonprofit that aims to drive toxic chemicals out of apparel. Fashion FWD provides the public with the knowledge they need to buy safer products to protect their health, the environment, and the well-being of factory workers and farmers across the apparel supply chain. After working with global apparel brands while working for a sustainability consulting firm led by the former Secretary of State for the Environment in the UK, Lord Deben, Alexandra founded Fashion FWD, to shed light on the hidden epidemic of harmful chemicals in the clothing people wear. She is now an advocate for turning fashion lovers into conscious consumers through education and action. With more than a decade of experience in the sustainability space across the globe, she is widely recognized as a change-maker in today’s sustainable fashion ecosystem. She still consults on sustainability strategy and speaks regularly around the world on the topic of safe textiles.
