Andrea Kennedy is a sustainable fashion educator, publisher, designer, and consultant. She founded and is an assistant professor at LIM College teaching Sustainability and the Future of Fashion, Intro to Fashion, and Product Development, as well is on the college's Sustainable Task Force. Andrea is a member of the Climate Reality Leadership Corps, the NYC Fair Trade Coalition, and the U.N. SDSN network. She has designed and merchandised for major fashion labels including Calvin Klein, Ann Taylor, Bob Mackie, Pierre Cardin, and Sunny Leigh. She is the author of many sustainability articles and sourcebooks including The Fashion Designer's Sustainable Sourcebook, The Apparel Design and Production Handbook- A Technical Reference, and The Color Book. She holds a BA in Fashion Design from Parsons and an M.Ed in Education for Sustainability from Manhattanville College.
