Hope Freedman is a passionate Purpose promoter, who leads consumer brands through the discovery and activation of corporate social initiatives that positively impact business, consumers and communities. Hope brings her extensive skills in consumer brand marketing, advertising and communications – both on the client and agency side – to promote social change through cause branding and corporate social responsibility. Recently as a strategist in Edelman’s global Business + Social Purpose practice, she focused on developing differentiated brand CSR platforms for clients including PepsiCo, Unilever, Edgewell and others. Previously, Hope managed various CPG brands during her brand management tenures at Unilever, Danone, L’Oréal and Reckitt Benckiser.

As adjunct faculty at LIM College, Hope has taught various undergraduate and graduate Marketing courses including Cause Marketing in the Fashion Industry. Hope shares her expertise on CSR, and Cause Branding through curriculum development, teaching, speaking engagements and award judging.

She has published numerous articles on sustainability and purpose-driven companies. She holds an MBA from Fordham University Graduate School of Business in Marketing and Finance, and a Bachelor of Arts from Union College.
