She is considered a pioneer of the reusable bag movement and using business to create culture shifts. Her brand focus is on responsible and sustainable sourcing to make durable reusables. Sharon speaks on social entrepreneurship to academic, business and creative audiences; Yale University, Sing-Sing Correctional Facility, FaFa Nairobi, BK Fashion Accelerator NYC and recently to women entrepreneurs in Reykjavik, Iceland.

Sharon has been recognized as follows: Enterprising Woman Award, Westchester Business Council Entrepreneur of the Year and the Woman's Economic Development Center - Lilian Vernon Award.
