Lisa Diegel is the Senior Sustainability Manager at Marc Jacobs International. She has been working in the fashion industry for over 20 years. She began her career in design and development at Aritzia, moved into raw materials at Ralph Lauren and then pivoted from production into sustainability at Marc Jacobs. At Marc Jacobs she manages the environmental and social responsibility program and is the liaison for all sustainability initiatives with parent company LVMH. Lisa recently represented the Marc Jacobs brand at the LVMH Future LIFE (LVMH Indicators for the Environment) event in New York, discussing responsible sourcing and textile waste. Lisa is originally from Canada and is of First Nations heritage. She grew up in Vancouver surrounded by nature and talk of land, trees and water. She is the mom of a 7 year old environmentalist who often schools her in the life cycles of sea creatures.
